The study aims to determine the micro –
nutrient contents (Cu, Fe, Mn, Pb) of Coptodon zillii in Bardwail
Lagoon, Mediterranean Sea, Brackish Water Lagoon and Lake
Timsah. The results showed that the highest nutrients were in
Brackish Water Lagoon while the lowest ones in Mediterranean
Sea site. Considering to nutrients, the highest value was 36.2
mg/ Kg of Fe while the lowest value was 0.57 mg/ Kg of Mn.
The study approved the high – nutrition value of Coptodon zillii
and healthy minerals content minerals among its flesh.
Dr. Hadeer SAIED Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400 Macro – nutrients of cichlid fishes in lake Timsah, Egypt
Cichlid fishes are one of the highly economic fishes in Egypt.
The study aims to determine the macro – nutrient content for
(K, Na, P, Ca, and Mg) of (Oreochromis niloticus, Coptodon
zillii, Oreochromis aureus, and Sarotherodon galilaeus) in Lake
Timsah, Egypt. Among studied species, S. galilaeus possesses
the highest values of nutrients except Ca while O. niloticus
possesses the lowest values except P and Ca. For elements,
1057 mg/Kg of Mg was the highest while 36 mg/Kg of Ca was
the lowest. The conclusion is cichlid fishes have a high
nutritional value with remarkable differences among studied
species.
Dr. Hadeer SAIED Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400 The Role of Technologies in Relationship Management and Internal Marketing: a preliminary contribution
The present study aims to understand the impact and the role of
technologies in a hospital context, and in relationships management from an
internal perspective (internal marketing). Based on a case study, the investigation
also aims to analyze how internal communication is carried out between
employees as well as employees and managers.
Dr. Vasco RIBEIRO SANTOS, Dr. Eduarda MENDES, Dr. Bruno SOUSA, Dr. Márcia GONCALVES, PhD ESTGA, Dr. Isabel REIS Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400 A Novel Bitcoin and Block Chain Based Energy Exchange in a New Microgrid Design
We are proposing an approach employing microgrid through which community can efficiently fulfill each
other needs of energy. This model will allow micro-grid prosumers to produce, consume and trade energy
deprived of any barrier. At present, such a system is not accepted because it requires the “collaboration” of
central energy distributors. In our solution, we visualize the use of a blockchain system with the support of
smart contracts to provide decentralization. The energy is sent to the central energy storage from the
prosumer and is stored there until the consumer claims it. Using smart energy (electricity) meters the flow
of electricity can be tracked accurately in both ways, neighbors can purchase spare electricity using tokens
rather than paying money. As blockchain takes care of the accounting part, it records the terms of the
contracts, tracks how many energy credits have been sold, by whom and to whom. The micro-grid is
facilitated by its own smart contract and it can share a desired amount of energy to a connected energy
consumer. The customer is aware of how much consumption energy is available at any time in the central
storage. The smart contract of the micro-grid takes as input HECs (helios coin) or a bit coin and then releases
the energy that corresponds to the calculated amount of HECs or bit coin received by the sender in form of
the payment. The test is to monitor these exchanges and repay purchasers and dealers likewise. This project
is an effort to utilize blockchain methodology for the trade of sun-based power among members effectively,
without any need of third party vendors
Ghulam RASOOL, Dr. Ghous NAREJO Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400 Weather Data Based Analysis of Existing Solar and Wind potential of Karachi, Pakistan
The solar irradiation and wind speed show random as well as periodic variations as a function of
variations in the weather. In this paper, an effort is made to detect, analyze, model and predict in
order to be able to forecast the variations in solar irradiations and the wind parameters to be able
to efficiently employ these renewable energy sources in meeting the current and future power
needs of Karachi mega city.
Sabir Ali KALHORO, Dr. Ghous NAREJO, Dr. Tanweer HUSSAIN Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400 A Proposed Indigenous Municipal Waste Based RE Generation Plant Design for South Asian Coastal Mega Cities
Waste holds an adequate amount of energy to serve as a viable renewable energy source. Moreover,
it is poised to create healthy revenue and handsome economy for country as waste may serve as
energy, wealth and gold. We are converting our waste into wealth. By transforming it into useful
resource, Sindh solid waste management board (SSWMB) estimates that Karachi will generate
16,000 tons of garbage daily by 2020. Currently, Karachi metropolis produces approximately
12,000 tons of garbage every day. Through proper management of the solid waste, the existing huge
garbage may well be converted into an efficient source of income as well as energy generation.
By doing so, Karachi may be relatively safe, disease free and environmentally clean city. Solid
waste management in metropolis has emerged as a 21st century challenge. The Solid waste is
increasing problem day by day. It is creating environmental hazards and social problems due to
increase in waste, health Issues and lack of management. So it is high time to convert this
problem in to a viable mechanism coupled with the solution by applying the instruments of proper
management for the solid waste. The Solid waste ejection is the most common problem in third
world countries.
Dr. Ghous NAREJO, Sabir Ali KALHORO Copyright (c) 2021 Sun, 04 Jul 2021 00:00:00 -0400
